About the role
1. Assist in the design of hardware solutions, component selection, schematic design, and PCB design guidance for hardware wallet products; collaborate with senior hardware engineers to compile the BOM for the complete device and monitor SMT production. 2. Lead or participate in functional verification, performance testing, reliability testing, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing of hardware products; assist in analyzing and resolving hardware issues during R&D and mass production. 3. Be responsible for hardware product compliance and certification, including but not limited to electrical performance testing, wireless radio frequency (RF) certification, battery safety and reliability testing, and hardware stability testing; independently or in collaboration with certification laboratories, submit products for testing and prepare technical documentation. 4. Work closely with outsourced structural design teams to complete collaborative hardware-structure design—including hardware stacking, PCB outline and positioning layout, and interface selection—based on product industrial design and structural constraints. When necessary, proactively adjust structural solutions or electronic component selection to achieve optimal design. 5. Participate in the mass production ramp-up of hardware products and provide post-sales technical support; collaborate with production lines to analyze and improve defective products. 6. Prepare hardware design documentation, test reports, and production guidance documents; maintain technical records throughout the product R&D process.
Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics, Communications, Automation, or a related field; 2–5 years of experience in hardware design and mass production delivery; good English reading and writing skills. 2. Possess comprehensive experience in the full hardware product development cycle (schematic design → PCB design → debugging and validation → pilot production and mass production); able to independently undertake hardware design tasks. 3. Proficient in mainstream EDA design tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence), with a solid grasp of circuit design and PCB layout fundamentals. 4. Experience collaborating with mechanical design teams; able to interpret 2D/3D mechanical drawings, understand hardware layout constraints such as height limitations, interference, and antenna clearance, and proactively adjust hardware layouts or component selection based on mechanical requirements to ensure design feasibility. 5. Experience with hardware compliance and certification processes for consumer electronics products; familiarity with testing requirements and procedures for electrical performance, wireless RF, batteries, and hardware stability under certifications such as FCC, CE, KC, and ANATEL. 6. Experience with international certification testing: Must have independently completed or been deeply involved in at least one full cycle of overseas hardware certification for a consumer electronics product. 7. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset, with the ability to effectively coordinate with internal and external certification laboratories as well as outsourced structural engineering teams.
