About the role
OptimAI Network is building the infrastructure for the agent-native internet -- a decentralized intelligence network where AI agents can search, execute, learn, and create value continuously. We are looking for an AI & Web3 Researcher to help advance the technical frontier of what we are building. This role combines applied research across AI, decentralized systems, and agent infrastructure, with a strong focus on turning ideas into publishable work and real product impact. You will work on research that supports OptimAI’s core stack across live intelligence, agent execution, decentralized data, and future AgentFi infrastructure. We are especially interested in candidates who can produce high-quality research, contribute to top-tier conference publications, and help shape the long-term technical direction of the project. Key responsibilities: - Conduct research across AI, agent systems, Web3 infrastructure, and decentralized intelligence. - Explore new architectures, mechanisms, and technical directions relevant to OptimAI. - Translate research ideas into practical product and protocol insights. - Collaborate with engineering and product teams to turn research into real implementations. - Contribute to papers, technical writing, and submissions to top-tier conferences. - Track relevant academic and industry developments to help keep OptimAI ahead of the curve.
Requirements
- Strong background in AI, ML, distributed systems, blockchain, or related technical fields. - Experience with research, technical writing, or conference publication. - Ability to think deeply about systems and turn ideas into rigorous outputs. - Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity across both AI and Web3. - Comfortable working in a fast-moving, ambitious startup environment. - Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical ideas clearly. Preferred: - Publication record or experience preparing papers for top-tier conferences. - Background in agentic AI, decentralized systems, RL, inference, or data infrastructure. - Experience bridging research with product or protocol development. - Familiarity with crypto/Web3 ecosystems and onchain design patterns.
