Director of Operation and Compliance

Paimon Finance · Remote · Mid

DefiPre-IPOOperationComplianceSEC

About the role

Compliance & Operations Director at Paimon Finance — a compliance-first RWA tokenization platform on BNB Chain (tokenized pre-IPO equity like SpaceX, OpenAI, Anthropic, Polymarket, Kalshi, plus private credit). Remote, reports to the CEO, operates solo initially. You own the compliance and operational backbone that lets an asset go on-chain safely: - Investor and asset due diligence — vetting structures, subscription and transfer docs, source-of-funds, and counterparty risk before anything is tokenized. - SPV mechanics end-to-end — how the vehicle holds the underlying asset, how legal and economic rights flow to token holders, and where the structure can break. - KYC/AML and investor onboarding across all products. - Directing the external bench — law firms, fund administrators, registered agents, custodians: scoping their work, redlining their drafts, controlling their invoices and deadlines. Regulatory operations across a multi-jurisdiction entity stack (specifics learned on the job). The work touches investor money and binding documents, so a single missed detail is expensive — you own the outcomes, not just the paperwork.

Requirements

- 2–10 years in fund administration, digital-asset compliance, or securities/regulatory ops. - Hands-on due diligence experience - Solid grasp of SPV / fund structuring: how rights and cash actually move through the vehicle, not just that it exists. - Can read and redline legal drafts without waiting for counsel, and push back on outside providers. - Comfortable operating solo and owning high-stakes outcomes end-to-end. - Plus: transfer-restricted private-share experience; DeFi experience; exchange-listing due diligence; Mandarin.
